Roundtable discussion with state legislative leaders, advocacy organizations, academic institutions amd trade groups hosted by senator frank carroll at the arizona state senate to discuss state aerospace policy .
Asa alabama and colorado chapters host a the asa aerospace summer internship program is for high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in the aerospace industry. The internship program runs for two weeks, a virtual week, followed by an in-person week in colorado and alabama. This gives students ample time to experience what it's like to work in various facets of the aerospace industry. Students will spend time at various aerospace facilities where they will have a chance to meet the best and the brightest in the aerospace industry, participate in hands-on activities, and get an exclusive behind the-scenes look at what each company does and some of the exciting projects they are working on.the asa aerospace summer internship program is designed primarily to give rural and under-served students in colorado a pathway into the aerospace industry. The program is open to high school and college students. Students from other states and students not in rural or underserved areas will be accommodated if space is available.
