African American Diversity Cultural Center Hawaii

The four (4) main community pillars: 1. National Park Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Anthony D. Allen Site at washington Middle School. 2.WWII Quonset Hut 33 on the National Register for Historic Places located in Pearl City Hawaii. 3. Remembrance Celebration of Life & Memory of African Americans men from the 29th Decontamination Unit who lost their lives in the West Loch Disaster at Pearl Harbor on May 21, 1944. 4. Community Core Project: Hawaiian Africana Youth Enrichment Program (HAYEP) in-school history and social studies classrooms. Produced Program Brochure to circulate to audience.

On Septermber 20, 2024, the organization shared the Hawaii Africana Experience with the community at Alliolani Judiciary Historic Center. The panelists: Rev. Dr. Gregory Carrow-Boyd, Master of Ceremonies; Michael Harano, Principal, Washington Middle School; Deloris Guttman, Obama Hawaiian Africana Museum.
