ACHD's Education Programs specialize in hands-on experiential learning, with a focus on outdoor and STEAM education. All of ACHD's Education Programs incorporate whole-family holistic case management to ensure that children have the resources and support they need to thrive. All our programs are specifically tailored to be culturally- and linguistically relevant to African Diaspora immigrants and refugees' unique and specific needs, while also integrating current WA state education standards. ACHD piloted our Curiosity Lab program in partnership with Highline Public Schools, serving middle school students with hands-on after-school and weekend STEM enrichment programming. This autumn, ACHD will launch our high-school level Curiosity Lab Program, which integrates college readiness and one-on-one tutoring with our unique Curiosity Lab model.
