Mission

Our mission is to build a prosperous rural community in Malawi Africa by educating children, empowering girls and women, and equipping men to fully engage with their families.

Programs

5 programs

Adolescent girls, who are in primary and secondary school and who parents/ guardians cannot afford to educate them, receive tuition fees, uniforms, and supplies. The girls meet twice a week for meals, schooling and mentorship.

Separate groups comprising single mothers, married women and men meet weekly where they receive training in farming, entrepeurship, home management, trade skills, micro loan financing and coaching to help them meet the social, economic and nutritional needs of their families.

Community outreach and engagement - Workshops are held throughout the year to improve community health and literacy, share sustainable farming practices and strengthen community bonds and awareness of our mission.

Crop cultivation and animal husbandry - The cost to plant crops used to supply food for the programs and serve as a training ground whereby beneficiaries are taught valuable farming and income- generating skills.

Capital improvements and infrastructure - Investments were made to the program facilities including solar, irrigation, and various buildings including a library, staff offices and a multi-purpose meeting room and dining hall. In addition, computer equipment was acquired to better liason with the local team in Malawi.
