ADI exists to serve by helping families produce, consume, and market nutritious food.

Programs

ADI promotes technologies that are appropriate to the production of plants and animals among smallholding farmers in West Africa. In 2024, ADI implemented several initiatives related to demonstration farming. ADI demonstrated the use of drip irrigation, solar panels, battery lighting, and plant protection. ADI operated a demonstration garden in Gouraye, Mauritania.

ADI builds the capacity of local organizations. In 2024, ADI worked in cooperation with the Association of Mauritania for Baseball and Softball to teach players, coaches, and umpires. 130 players were served by ADI and AMBS in 2024.
