The air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration institute serves the public and the industry by promoting recognition of the benefits of air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration and by promoting confidence in the performance of the industry's products.

Policy and government relations - these departments provide a wide range of services on a variety of domestic, trade and international issues. Hvacr and water heating products are coming under increasing scrutiny for the energy and refrigerants they use. These departments represent the industry by working with decision-makers to develop policies that recognize the benefits of air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration products.
Membership services - ahri is viewed as a resource for industry shipment data, education and workforce information, and research. Ahri is an industry powerhouse, providing our members with one industry voice, both domestically and abroad.
