Airport Foundation Msp

Arts and culture - the arts and culture program showcases artistic talents and cultural highlights of the minnesota region by partnering with local organizations to provide performing arts, rotating exhibits, and commissioned art installations throughout mac owned facilities.

Contributions and beautification- the foundation contributes to projects which enhance and beautify airport facilities. Projects have included: holiday lighting, artwork, landscaping, flower baskets, the aviation history center, children's play areas, aed's (difibrillators) welcome signage. Grants are made to aviation related 501 c3 organizations which support career pathways in aviation, aviation history and education, and community aviation events.

Tourism-the foundation works with state tourism partners to welcome travelers to our state and share tourism related information through messaging campaigns, convention and sports eventssupport services, volunteers and informational kiosks.

Volunteer program- the foundation is supported by well over 500 highly trained, active volunteers who interact with millions of travelers at the airport annually. The volunteer program is managed by staff responsible for recruitment,training, retention and recognition of volunteers ensuring the airport has a highly skilled volunteer workforce able to meet the needs of msp airport now and in the future.
