Ajkun Ballet Theatre remains dedicated to the unique vision of choreographer teacher and cultural leader Chiara Ajkun who pioneered an innovative all-American methodology rooted in science and a repertory relevant in our current society. Our Dance Education Programs aim to instill a lifelong passion for dance in every student by inspiring nurturing and developing the full individual potential. The professional division includes a competitive trainee program and summer session accessible by audition and attracting global talent. These programs follow the Ajkun Methodology curriculum integrating biomechanics physiology psychology and pedagogy and ever evolving scientific research. Our Children and Teens programs introduce dance and promote creativity through movement. Ajkun Ballet engages the community by offering mentoring and workshop activities. Our education programs strive to offer free or subsidized access based on merit and need.
