Akron Womans City Club

The organization provides women the opportunity to meet and have an open forum for the presentation and discussion of any subjects pertaining to education and civic and philanthropic improvement of the community. It offers activities to the public including lecture programs discussing topics that are relevant to men and women in the community. A theater organized to encourage and develop dramatic talent in the community, provides special programs for children to entertain and educate. Other progamming includes, a travel series, monthly art shows to encourage appreciation of the arts and monthly meetings to provide a forum for interaction and discussion on a wide variety of topics.
