Mission
To increase civic awareness, enhance social responsibility and community leadership, to attain a high quality of life for all the Filipino Americans in Alaska by working together within the community. The object and purposes:To provide assistance to charitable institutions providing social services in Alaska and to needy individuals in distress or suffered loss due to fortuitous events or calamity. To provide leadership, educational and literary training to the youth and adults. To perpetuate Filipino values and cultural heritage through educational and instructional practices. Provide scholarship assistance to deserving individuals. to name a few.
Programs

Community/cultural Participation and Wellness. Provide wellness activities to the community (Zumba and dance fitness. An in collaboration with other Filipino groups, sponsored Philippine History month, cultural presentations to various Asian and other community groups.
AFFA Youth Program - This program teaches youth to appreciate and preserve Filipino culture by engaging them through leadership, cultural activities, and community involvement.
Other Activities and Expenses for General & Administrative (Storage Rental, Postage & Websites, Office Equipment & Supplies, Insurance, BOD & General Memberships meeting, Advertising & representation, Membership events (picnic, Appreciation,& Christmas), State Taxes & Licenses Fees, Charitable Donations, Financial Assistance, Hospitality, Scholarship. Revenue - Net Proceeds from Bingo -$59,517.27 & Miscellaneous Receipts and Bank Interests. $2,224.08
