The foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational or religious purposes by conducting or supporting activities for the benefit of or to carry out the purposes of the jewish federation of metropolitan chicago ("the federation") and specifically for the purpose of providing housing and support for the jewish elderly in need of aid and the training of caregivers for such persons.
