Albina vision trust, inc (avt) is facilitating the reinvention of 94 acres in portland's albina area, from which thousands of primarily african american residents were displaced over decades of urban renewal. Avt's mission is to spur the creation of an innovative and remarkable place that is diverse, inclusive, affordable, and accessible. Avt is committed to healing past harm, amplifying underrepresented voices and setting a precedent for innovative community renewal.
