The city camp program operates in st. Titus of aliquippa and serves approximately 80 students from 1st - 6th grade. The program runs for eight weeks during the summer months and provides healthy, wholesome activities for young people during a time of year when idol time poses a threat to our youth. During city camp, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of positive youth developmental assets, recreational activities, art activities, field trips, multi-cultural exposure and other educational activities. Young people also have the opportunity to visit promise camp during the summer. City camp is highly engaging, hands-on and full of energy.
Formerly a future anticipated now called pathways to purpose (p2p) is a program to provide long term holistic support to the young people of aliquippa from 1st grade through high school graduation. Youth transition into p2p when they enter middle/high school. P2p empowers middle and high school youth toward self discovery to make informed choices about their future. Participants receive in-school support, peer-to-peer interaction on wednesday evenings, and one-on-one relationship support with their p2p leader. Youth will cultivate a sense of purpose, increase their self-esteem, and have an optimistic view of their future when opportunities are available to them and they receive the necessary support to achieve their goals.
