crime, and domestic violence. Bilingual English/Spanish counseling is also available on a limited basis. We partnered with Haywood Street Congregation and Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) to provide on-site counseling support to individuals who were unhoused and/or are living in transitional housing. We also continued our formal referral partnership with Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) to provide psychiatric services for clients needing a higher level of care and/or access to medicine management.

ASCC therapists use the Global Assessment of Functioning scale pre- and post-treatment to evaluate improvement in behavioral health issues. During FY 2024, we administered a client survey to measure client satisfaction with our counseling services. This was conducted in Fall 2024, and 96.4 % of client survey participants reported improvement in managing daily activities as a result of therapy through ASCC.
