Wildlife response: operated by organization's wildlife biologist as an on- call 24/7 resource to the general public and businesses to resolve wildlife concerns. On and off-site evaluation of injured/orphaned wildlife cases and efficient capture of animals in need of human intervention. Specializing in challenging wildlife capture work and the rehabilitation of avian species in need of intensive care. Humane wildlife nuisance mitigation offered, including but not limited to alternatives to lethal actions against geese, woodchucks, raccoons and coyotes.

Expenses: $37K

Farm animal and special-needs dog sanctuary: located on 100 rural acres, the organization provides lifelong refuge to dogs that have run out of options at traditional rescues and shelters. These individuals often have chronic behavioral issues and/or medical conditions. Enrichment and housing are provided to not more than 20 dogs at any given time to allow attentive one-on-one care for life. Formerly farmed birds also find refuge with priority given to providing in-depth avian-certified medical care to birds suffering from reproductive disorders and the effects of selective modification. Adoption of birds is also conducted which includes on-site recommendations and consulting on predator-safe housing, medical care and dietary needs for any prospective adopters.
