The mission of the alliance for children is to protect tarrant county children from child abuse through teamed investigation, healing services, and community education.

Multidisciplinary team coordination (mdt) - alliance for children partners with 41 tarrant county law enforcement agencies, the texas department of family and protective services, cook childrens health care system, jps health network, texas health resources, tarrant county juvenile services, and the tarrant county criminal district attorneys office. All of these agencies work together at alliance for children centers to seek justice for child victims of crime during an investigation. The mdt program works to collaborate with investigative agencies to facilitate services for families that meeting the mdt protocols.
Family advocate program - the family advocate program provides case management services to children and families impacted by allegations of crimes against children. From initial outcry through prosecution, when needed, our family advocates are available to help families understand the criminal justice process and successfully access needed resources in the community. 1,472 families were supported this fiscal year through the trauma of abuse.
The client relations services department serves as the face of the agency. Client relations specialist acts as the initial contact person for all client, volunteer, and professional inquiries to alliance for children. The client relations specialist supervises children in the reception area and obtains family demographic information from parents/guardians. In addition, the client relations specialist has maintenance responsibilities of the physical facility. Community engagement includes providing child abuse prevention education and personal body, safety and internet safety. We are committed to providing quality, free community education that teaches adults and children to recognize, report, and react responsibly to the issue of child abuse. The forensic interview program is staffed by individuals specialized and highly trained regarding child development, memory, suggestibility, linguistics, dynamics of abuse, and question typology. Forensic interviews are investigative in nature and are conducted with children that have possibly experienced or witnessed abuse or violent events. Our forensic interview program provided these highly complex investigative interviews with availability 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
