The alliance for the support of american legion baseball in anchorage is focused on providing year-round extracurricular activities and events that increase youth access to physical activity and improve youth participation by providing baseball programs and field improvements across the state of alaska.

American legion baseball in alaska: the alliance operates the american legion baseball season in alaska for over 350 high school and middle school aged athletes. These athletes represent 16 programs across the state including ketchikan, juneau, anchorage, kodiak, kenai, eagle river, chugiak, wasilla, palmer and fairbanks. The alliance provides field maintenance and improvements, as well as officials, tournaments and camps.
Middle school baseball: the middle school baseball program is an after school extracurricular activity at each of the 10 middle schools in the anchorage school district for students of all skill levels. The alliance provides field maintenance and improvements, officials, coaches, uniforms, and equipment for over 275 boys and girls that participate in this after school activity. A fee waiver is also provided to over 25% of participants, who qualify for an anchorage school district activity fee waiver.
