Outreach. The alliance talks to the press on an almost daily basis to educate the public about our efforts. We have been quoted in media throughout the united states and occasionally in europe. We also regularly write columns for national publications like counterpunch, but columns by the alliance for the wild rockies executive director have also appeared in the ny times and the washington post. Our columns are also printed frequently in local newspapers in the northern rockies. We do this to educate the public about our efforts to protect habitat for native species in the northern rockies.
Member service activities. The alliance for the wild rockies has members who contribute to the alliance for the wild rockies to further our mission. To keep our members informed, we have a website, facebook page, and a twitter account. We regularly mail or email our members to update them about our activities and to remain them to check our social media accounts. We also meet with or talk to our members on a regular basis to educate them or ask them to support our efforts through their own comments.
