Alliance Francaise De Charlotte

Alliance francaise of charlotte, founded in 1949, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase appreciation for the french language and francophone cultures worldwide and reinforce the franco- american friendship. Afc organizes monthly cultural events in the community, offers french classes and theme workshops, and funds two grants annually. Afc is also committed to providing a place where recent arrivals from francophone nations can make connections with other french speakers in charlotte.
