Kuhio beach hula show - commits to bringing a "hawaiian sense of place" back to waikiki, resulting in a permanent pa hula (hula mound) at kuhio beach, designed specifcally for the hula program, and dedicated exclusively to hawaiian hula in a traditional blessing ceremony. The hula show presents authentic hawaiian hula, history and culture to visitors. Additional benefit to the community is the opportunity the program offers to hula students to share their hula and interact with the tourists in waikiki.
