Funds were given to assist victims of the Lahaina fire in Maui, Hawaii. This was a fundraising effort spearheaded by the Aloha Wine Foundation. The funds will be earmarked for helping Lahaina fire victims primarily in the hospitality and restaurant industries. However, primarily this organization gives scholarships to wine industry professionals on a need basis in Hawaii with a goal of creating more diversity and inclusion in gender and race. Secondly, the organization provides educational events that not only educate, but serve as a networking platform leading to job opportunities, mentoring, and fellowship.
