Community Transformation Projects: One of AIMs key strategies is to stand alongside our GCH Caregivers and community leaders by launching transformation projects in the countries and communities where we serve. These projects not only meet urgent needs but also help families stay connected to education and long-term development. Some of our 2024 community transformation highlights include: Drilling four clean water wells in communities facing water scarcity. Distributing 500 warm blankets to children living in homes without proper heating. Providing monthly financial aid to three elderly widows. In Manipur, India, distributing 305 school uniforms and 100 school supply kits to children affected by ethnic violence. Building a home for an educator who became a refugee due to the violence. In Nepal, distributing 60 warm jackets, 200 shirts and trousers, and 100 sets of womens winter clothing to those in need. In Thailand, providing $800 worth of pigs, chickens, and fish to families for small-scale livestock and aquaculture projects that promote self-sustainability. All these initiatives were made possible through the sacrificial and generous donations of our supporters. We are deeply thankful and profoundly grateful for every donor who answered the call to give and make the world a better place.

Giving Children Hope GCH: Our Giving Children Hope (GCH) child sponsorship program helps disadvantaged children stay in school and build a brighter future. This is the flagship initiative of Alpha International Ministries (AIM). Currently, more than 802 children are part of the program across India, Nepal, Tanzania, Ecuador, Thailand, and the Philippines. In many developing countries, children often drop out of school after the 8th grade to work and support their families. Through GCH, we encourage families to think long-term and resist the pressure to sacrifice education for immediate needs. Although this can be very challenging, our trained and dedicated Caregivers work tirelessly to keep children in school. For example, in Thailand we serve children and families fleeing the decades-long conflict in Myanmar. For these families, securing daily sustenance is often the top priority, making education seem like a distant dream. Our Caregivers do an incredible job ensuring these children remain in school rather than entering the labor force. Each GCH child receives free tutoring, school uniforms, books, shoes, nutritious meals, and toiletries to promote health and personal hygiene.
