Mission
We advocate to preserve the many historic cultural resources of our foothill community and promote thoughtful rebuilding of our business districts and gathering places. Working with the Owen Brown Grave-site Committee through contract with Los Angeles County to create signage, maps, programs, educational materials, a film, and teacher training. Developing programs for community engagement through tours, art contests, lectures, marking important community anniversaries with special events programs, mapping historical context and creating and distributing brochures, newspapers, books, maps.

Old Marengo Park is managed by Altadena. We have expenses for watering, gardening, and tree pruning.
Our free annual holiday gathering for our members only provides our community a gathering place in a historic home for an afternoon of idea sharing, property tours, music programs, historical presentations and fun events.
