Altamont Volunteer Firemans Association Inc

Altamont volunteer fireman's association, inc. Is dedicated to supporting the community and the altamont fire department, in its efforts to serve the community, through the following activities:providing education relating to fire safety and fire prevention to the residents within the fire district, actively recruiting and retaining volunteer firefighters and providing assistance to the fire company and community during emergency operations, providing education to children in the community relating to fire safety and fire prevention by providing programs and materials for children and their families through the local pre-schools, at altamont elementary school and at the fire house each year, hosting an annual open house for the purpose of both fire safety/prevention education and volunteer recruitment, hosting community events each year and participating with other local organizations in activities in which firefighter recruitment is the primary goal and other similar activities.
