Mission
Alternative Ministries, Inc. is created to provide educational services and support to men, women, and children, offer services that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, provide disaster relief for persons dealing with unforeseen situations and circumstances which devastate their lives, give food and clothing to those in need, and offer mentoring, tutoring, and recreational services to enrich the lives of youth in underserved communities.

The ministry provided a transportation program to help the elderly and disabled to get to healthcare appointments, do general errands, and even go to church. This service was provided at no cost to the recipients.
The ministry offered program services for youth after school and during the summer months to provide them with activities which would deter any negative activity. We also had movie nights for families in the area during the summer months and provided occasional weekend family events.
During the Christmas Holidays, the ministry adopted families throughout the City of Jackson who were implicated as needing assistance with providing food and toys for their children during that time. We provided Christmas dinner and gifts for the entire family.
