Training - provide caregiving training for all volunteers of the respite center. Newsletter - published quarterly to keep members, caregivers, both family and professional, and community leaders aware of current research and medical developments, caregiving techniques and the organization's programs and activities. Approximately 4,000 newsletters mailed. Development of new website to expand access to education resources.

Respite center - operation of a respite center to provide socialization opportunities for early to mid-stage alzheimer's patients and a brief respite for their caregivers. Regular attendees of the respite center range from 30-40 weekly.
