Amaanah Refugee Services

Amaanahs Womens Empowerment Program started in 2021, helps immigrant and refugee women by pairing them with mentors who share their language. The program offers English lessons, job preparation, financial aid and career coaching. This support empowers women to adapt, thrive and build better futures in their new communities.

Amaanahs Relief Program in Houston organizes key community support events like the Back-to-School Drive, Winter Warmth Festival, food drives and other relief focused events. These initiatives provide essential items such as school supplies, jackets, toys, and food to refugees and underserved families, helping them thrive in their new environment. Through these efforts, Amaanah addresses educational needs, seasonal challenges, and food insecurity, reinforcing their mis to uplift and support Houstons refugee and underserved communities.
