Community Health & Equity Initiatives: We supported over 60 families in obtaining and maintaining stable housing through funding opportunities and partnerships. We have provided over $270,000 in support to families in need of housing to support with temporary housing, move-in costs, etc. Our maternal health work focused on increasing support systems and access to culturally competent care for African American pregnant and postpartum mothers. As a result, we engaged over 25 participants and made progress toward decreasing maternal and infant mortality rates in our community.We also expanded health education programming to increase families understanding of preventative care and health resources. We had 6 staff that became certified Community Health Workers and through weekly outreach we have provided education on healthy living and resources to over 500 individuals and families in high need census tracts (85202, 95206, 95420, 95231).

Social Justice Initiatives: Through our STAR (Success Through Alternative Routes) Program, we successfully housed one of our participants and enrolled him in a certified apprenticeship program. This initiative demontrates our commitment to addressing systemic inequities by providing tangible pathways to employment, stability and empowerment for justice-impacted individuals. We have engaged and supported over 20 individuals through social justice programs and initiatives. Additionally, we have collaborated with 6 organizations and their participants to provide a broader reach through coalition building efforts. Mental Wellness Initiatives: We increased access to licensed clinicians throughour community partnerships and reduced mental health stigma by normalizing conversations about emotional well-being in group and one-on-one settings. We provided culturally relevant tools and education to support parents in raising emotionally resilient children.
