Aifc provides american indian families with programs and services enriched by traditional american indian values and culture.

Programs

Behavioral health services: the aifc provides holistic behavioral health support, focusing on mental, chemical, and behavioral wellbeing for all generations. These services integrate traditional healing practices, ceremonies, and trauma-informed approaches to create a culturally relevant path to wellness. Programs include:- healing generations: therapy and case management services tailored to individual and family needs.- khunsi onikan (grandmother's arms): recovery and treatment for substance use and mental health challenges.- soogizin dodem (strengthening families): trauma-informed services to build resilience and improve family dynamics.

Community development services: the community development team equips individuals and families with the tools, skills, and resources needed to achieve economic stability and personal growth. These services address housing, education, employment, and systemic barriers to success. Programs include:- thinica owichakiyapi thipi (helping the homeless build): housing support services to address homelessness and provide stability.- zuya wo ohiya (journey to success): employment and education programs fostering self-sufficiency and career advancement.
