Maintenance of the website, continuation of quarterly journal to keep members abreast of issues that are time-sensitive for practicing medicine, quarterly board of directors meetings to discuss issues of pertinence to the organization and its members, and home study cme courses.

Travel of our officers and directors representing our state organization at national and regional meetings to keep abreast of policy affecting medicine, in particular family medicine, state and nationally. To maintain our organization's goals and objectives of advocating for family practice physicians and the health of the public, officers and other members of the board attend the national congress of delegates of the aafp, of which we are voting members and can not only vote, but speak, on issues affecting family physicians, their patients and the organization.
