American Association for Social Development of India (AASAI) is a non-profit charity involved in helping the poor and underpriveleged in India in the areas of Health Care, Education and Social Welfare. AASAI's health care projects range from primary general care; mental health care to address the rescue, recovery (through treatment), rahabilitation and public awareness; education and women health care including cancer screening and general health. AASAI projects on education focus on the needs of the poor and underprevileged children, particularly in the rural areas of India. Education and development of Autism impaired children is a major focus. AASAI supports social empoertment projects for women from the underpriveleged sector through vocational training and social programs. In all these efforts AASAI strives to help the NGOs we support to become self-sustaining and for mutual collaboration to help each other.
