American Association Of Private Railroad Car Owners

We have an annual convention and periodic meetings of members for the promotion of safety and the preservation of historic railroad cars. The convention meetings and presentations were held in canadaigua new york at the hilton hotel. The convention was held on june 12 and 13.

Aaprco runs a special train for our convention. This year the train departed from albany new york on june 11 for the finers lakes region of upstate new york. The convention was in canadaigua with stops along the way, returning to albany on june 15.aaprco ran our explorers v vermont train september 30 to october 7. This is the 5th year we have run a fall special train to view new england's fall colors. The cars are marshalled in albany new york and travel to burlington vermont with stops and sighseeing along the way.
