In our role as an advocate for our members (and their profession) during the course of the year we send out regular communications to the membership, maintain a website and social media presence, and explain contract language or legislation that is relevant.we hold seminars, workshops and meetings throughout the year on issues of interest to our members.

During the life of the collective bargaining agreement we periodically enter into discussions/negotiations with management in an effort to improve working conditions and/or benefits for our membership.
