Recertification: certification is a professional distinction official and public recognition of achievement that opticians and contact lens examiners have met a national set of standards. Certification is assurance that eyewear needs are being competently and carefully fulfilled; employers and state licensing boards recognize certification as a standard of competence. Abo & ncle works with state associations and professional organizations to ensure the continuing education required for recertification meets the highest of standards.

Awareness and outreach - the awareness and outreach program involves our attendance at state society conferences, corporate conferences, industry events, state licensing boards, and regional meetings/conferences. We provide financial and other support to non-profit opticianry programs in order to promote the need for certification and continuing education in the fields of opticianry and contact lens.
