Mission
Grow demand for dorper and white dorper sheep by delivering modern and efficient member services and registry that support traditional and progressive producers in areas of marketing, education, branded programs and genetic improvement.
Programs

Youth program - in 2024, the adsbs had 130 youth members under the age of 21. In support of the youth program, adsbs dedicates a large portion of funds deducated to sponsoring youth educational events, youth show, and prizes for competitions.
Dorper publications - in 2024, adsbs distributed two major publications. The dorper journal is a biennial publication with breed and member information that is distributed to events within the u.s. Sheep and lamb industry. Over 6,000 issues were printed and distributed. The dorper report is a quarterly publication with educational resources and updates for memebers on adsbs official business. The dorper report is mailed to 1,300 members in additional to being posted digitally on the website.
