Provide a voice in determining the terms and conditions of employment. Attend regular monthly meetings, or meet as needed, with management to discuss new or ongoing concerns and issues that pertain to conditions of employment. Prepare for anticipated contract negotiations through monitoring trends and researching current and expected union contract issues.

Employ available legislative action. In coordination with fellow union organizations, monitor proposed legislation for how it may affect employment conditions. Communicate union positions for, or against, proposed legislation to elected representatives and our members.
