Founded in 1975, IRCEA is the union representing teachers employed by the School District of Indian River County. Our mission is twofold: to act as a staunch advocate for our members, and to consistently strive towards improving public education for all stakeholders within our district, state, and nation. As a professional body, we are driven by our purpose to provide comprehensive representation for teachers in our district, while also serving as a reliable source of information for professional educators and the wider community. In carrying out our mission, we work tirelessly to promote professionalism and unity within the teaching profession, to make a significant, lasting impact on the future of education.
