To raise funds for the ades synagogue (knees translates to synagogue in arabic) located in the nachalot neighborhood of jerusalem, israel. The synagogue is located at the corner of beersheba and shilo streets (off bezalel street). The synagogue was established in 1901 by syrian jewish immigrants. It quickly became the center for syrian hazzanut (middle eastern style jewish liturgical singing) which attracts visitors from all over the world.
