Mission
The Organization is a "friends organization as described in Revenue Rulings 62-252 and 66-79; the Organization was formed and operates to solicit and receive U.S. contributions, which it in turn uses to support the Royal Anthropological Institute, a charitable and educational organization existing under the laws of the United Kingdom, and other like-minded organizations dedicated to the preservation and promotion of indigenous cultures. Through coordinating its efforts with the UK-based Institute, the Organization supports the research and study of indigenous peoples and their cultures. The work and resources of the Organization facilitate the publication of academic and scientific journals and podcasts, the maintenance of archives, and the sponsorship of lectures, presentations, and conferences, all with the aim of promoting human knowledge and cultural gains.
