Study #2 - examining the future of u.s. Natural gas: a comprehensive analysis exploring the strategic use of u.s. Natural gas resources to support manufacturing, enhance energy security, and advance toward a low-carbon economy.

Study #3 - opportunities for direct use of natural gas: this update to a study will analyze the potential for direct natural gas technologies to contribute to the u.s. Goal of significant reductions in ghg emissions by 2050. It will extend the focus beyond traditional direct-use applications, including emerging technologies such as residential heat pumps and other innovative technologies introduced to the market since the last report.

Study #4 - the american gas foundation refreshed its assessment of rng production potential by incorporating recent advances in technology, sources, market acceptance, and shifts in policy landscapes. This study focused on the volumetric potential of rng production from diverse feedstocks, examined the broader implications for ghg emission reductions (using lifecycle emissions protocols), and analyzed the cost of rng production under different economic scenarios.
