Food Security: In 2024 AHAMES AHAMES began to work on the phase 2 of the Food Security Project after the organization has signed a new contract with Malteser International at the end of 2023. The project has a lifespan of another three years to be completed by December 2026 This project was to be implemented in the area of Pestel LAsile Petit Trou de Nippes and Baraderes and the deliverables in these areas did not change from what were implemented during phase 1 of the project. All the goals set forth by the project are being satisfied and AHAMES is continuing the implementation of the projects goals as set forth by the contract.

Bureau Conjoint: In 2024 the cooperation between AHAMES and Norwegian Church Aid NCA FLM RMC DKH continued. During the year AHAMES has executed several projects two of which known as ACTCOS and ELCA entitled Emergency Cash Protection and Disaster Risk Response for Internally Displaced Persons in Haitis West and South Department were implemented to support the population forced to run away from their home due to gangs warfare for territory control. The organization has supported the relocation of more than 520 households and provided cash transfer distribution to these families to help them with resettlement and economic assistance. The other two projects entitled Contributing to the Resilience of Rights Holders specially Women Climate Resilient Wash Service and Climate Smart Economic Empowerment by Adopting a Human Right-Based Approach and Building Resilient Communities Through Climate Resilient Wash Services and Sustainable Livelihoods in the Big South were implemented to reinforce WASH in several schools train the local population to deal with risks and disasters during drought and hurricane. Through this project more than 100 farmers received financing for setting up agricultural plots high yield multi story based on vegetable crops tubers and roots and also by focusing on bee honey plants. As part of the projects deliverables more than 20 farms were established 25 bee producers were put to work 30 micro-enterprises created and financial assistance were given to a total of 60 breeders to acquire livestock veterinary care and other inputs.

Joint project AHAMES & HELVETAS European Union. In 2024 AHAMES in conjunction with HELVETAS Suitzeland has executed a project entitled initiative for Nature and Optimization of Ecological and Economic Values INOVEE. This project was intended to protect the environment and contributed to the reduction of the vulnerability of Haiti due to climate change by protecting the coast in urban and rural areas of Pichon city of Belle Anse. Through the implementation of this project the more than 50% of the households were empowered financially to come out of the poverty condition in which they were living. 250 farmers were involved in agroforestry and environmental protection covering more than 200 hectares of land 50 hectares of mangrove were regenerated and restored and more than 75 hectares of coral reefs and seagrass beds area of Recife were protected. An education campaign was initiated to target more than 200 households involved in charcoal production cutting the mangroves and instead these households were involved in planting 150,000 mangroves plants. 250 locals were converted to farmers producing coffee cacao Yam and plantain and also contributed in the irrigation initiative of 60 hectares of farm land and the construction of 1,500 meters of irrigation canal. AHAMES has also acquired and donated 10 fishing boats to 10 associations of fishermen and a has built a refrigerated room to stock the fishermen catches.

In 2024 For the full implementation of the various projects AHAMES has been working on and in order and to ensure the successful completion of those projects at the satisfaction of the funding international organization partners AHAMES had to inject some fundings from its own coffer to ensure that all the terms and agreements signed are fully respected as well as carry out some educational and healthcare funding activities
