The mission of the american inns of court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.

Awareness and recognition building - the foundation continued building awareness of its mission by promoting its ideals through the presentation of the lewis f. Powell, jr. Award for professionalism and ethics, the sandra day o'connor award for professional service, thewarren e. Burger prize, and the aic professionalism awards.
