Architecture for Health Committee Spring and Fall Conferences - The Architecture for Health Committee (AHC) connects and educates healthcare design professionals. IN 2024, AHC hosted two conferences centered on opportunities and challenges of healthcare delivery, with teh Spring Conference (Seattle) focusing on urban healthcare and the Fall conference (Portland) focusing on rural. With two sold out 2024 conferences reaching an audience comprised of both Washington and Oregon practitioners, the impact of AHCs program reached diverse communities across our region.
Housing Design Forum - This annual full-day forum explores the latest design trends, case studies, policy changes, and practice innovations informing housing design and the development of plentiful, quality, diverse, and sustainable housing options to Seattle and beyond. The program, Housing: A Stage for Life responded to the evolving housing landscape and explored how housing can center specific community needs and support people through various life stages. Housing Design Forum highlights AIA Seattles commitment to our strategic housing imperitive, pushing the profession forward by amplifying innovative voices that build towards a more equitable and sustainable future of housing.
Building Code Series - Developed by the Code Committee, this four-part series was delivered virtually for three sessions and in person for one, and focused on essential building code topics.Climate Summit - This annual full-day form amplified the role of the profession in climate and sustainability at varying scales to advance research, share technical skills, and inform policies crucial for a sustainable, decarbonized, and equitable built environment.AIA Seattle Parti - This program celebrated individual achievement in design.Job board revenue is a feature of the website where employers can attract candidates for open roles in their organizations.
