To uphold and defend the constitution of the united states of america; to promote peace and good will among the people of the united states and all nations of the earth; to preserve the memories and incidents of the two world wars and the other great hostilities fought to up-hold democracy; to cement the ties and comradeship born of service; and to consecrate the efforts of its members to mutula helpfulness and service to their country.
