American Legion

Support of needy individuals and other charities which benefit many local people. Including hospice, local school districts, pheasants forever, twin valley scouts, area food shelf, historical society, local youth sports organizations, cancer fundraisers.

Support and honor of veterans, provided a place for veterans and other nonprofit organizations to meet and socialize. Served 38 members, provided color guard for funerals and events. Provided grace decorations for vets. Remited dues to state and national organizations.

Chartered under the national american legion. The american legion is a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. The american legion is committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs advocating patriotism and honor and promoting national pride.
