American Legion

The organization's primary exempt purpose is to aid and assist in a material way disabled veterans of the world war and their families, contribute to the needs of under-priviledged children, both of veterans and non-veterans, and cooperate with the public schools in sponsoring education week and in giving school awards for outstanding service and accomplishments among the student body in the public schools in the state of texas.
