American Legion Post 0006 James De Armond Golliday

The post conducts various activities "to foster and perpetuate a 100 percent americanism'. Many of these activities are focused on veterans and current military. They provide support to the marion va, conduct cermonies honoring our veterans, support programs assisting disable & in need veterans, and other similar endeavors. They provide finanical support to the american legion baseball program. They help support local youth by conducting events focused on the holidays, in particular gifts to needy children during the christmas season & a contest promoting americanism at local schools.
