Mission
The Albert R. Atkinson Jr. American Legion Post 210s mission statement is strengthen our local community county state and nation with local programs for our veterans their families and military. The Post accomplishes this by supporting the local Boy Scout Troup 169 and the local chapter of the Civil Air Patrol. In addition Post 210 provides services to veterans who require assistance with the VA and require financial and housing support. Post 210 supports an American Legion Baseball Team supports other local veteran groups VFW DAV Marine Corps League VVA; Lions Group; Meghans Foundation an organization supporting individuals recovering from substance dependence and other local community groups by providing meeting space in the Post 210 meeting hall.
