Public relations - engaged in the recruitment and retention of members. Worked to identify and meet the needs of members through newsletters, publications, website and other related materials. Worked to increase public awareness of physical therapy through outreach materials, events and media.

Legislation: in illinois, advocated for changes in rules for the administration of the pt act. Pairing members to encourage professional growth in mentor program: 70 participated. Education: provided virtual learning opportunities for licensed physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and physical therapy students - approximate total participation: 5,675. Provided sexual harassment prevention training for licensees (1,153); ethics (1,485); implicit bias (1,420); and dementia (1,468). Also provided training through spotlight (915) and third thursday (1,304) initiatives.
