To facilitate the individual participation of professional planners and planning officials in the affairs of the american planning association, to promote cooperation among planning agencies or commissions, other organizations, professional planners, planning officials, and other citizens interested in planning in the commonwealth of pennsylvania, and to encourage the observance of sound planning practices.
